A day at your counter
Pick a time of day. Here's what happens at that hour with paper, and with Bisro.
What's running low today?
On paper: You walk the shelves and guess, usually after the delivery boy has left.
With Bisro: Home already says two products are running low. Open Stock to see which.
How stock alerts work →Padma takes her usual on credit
On paper: A line on the side sheet, to be copied into the book tonight. Maybe.
With Bisro: Tap Credit taken, ₹240. It's saved with the time, and her balance adds itself up.
How the khata works →The supplier's van arrives
On paper: You count the sacks against a chit and the stock count never gets updated.
With Bisro: Mark the purchase delivered and those items are added to your stock.
How purchases work →The evening rush
On paper: Five customers, one calculator, and the change worked out in your head.
With Bisro: Tap or scan. Bisro shows the change, and khata customers go straight onto their account.
How billing works →Closing time
On paper: Count the cash, add up the slips, and try to remember who to chase tomorrow.
With Bisro: Count the drawer against the galla balance, then send polite reminders to the three who are overdue.
How reminders work →Example shop, customers and amounts.
