Your data and security

Your shop's records, locked and kept safe.

Bisro opens with your PIN or fingerprint and locks itself when you're away. Your khata is saved to your Bisro account, so a lost or broken phone doesn't mean a lost khata.

What happens if…

  1. Whoever finds it can't open Bisro without your PIN or fingerprint.
  2. Your customers and khata entries are saved to your Bisro account, not only on that phone.
  3. Install Bisro on your new phone, sign in with the same number, and they're there.

Three locks, one inside the other

  1. Your phone's own lock

The screen lock you already use.

  2. Bisro's app lock

Your PIN or fingerprint. It locks again after 5 minutes away.

  3. The Profit Vault PIN

A separate 4-digit PIN for your margins. It locks itself after a minute.

Questions about security

What if I lose my phone?

Your customer accounts and entries are saved to your Bisro account. Install Bisro on a new phone and sign in with the same number.

Can someone else open my app?

Not without your PIN or fingerprint. If Bisro has been in the background for 5 minutes, it asks again.

Can my staff see my margins?

Not without the Vault PIN, which is separate from the app lock.

I forgot my PIN. What now?

Reset it with a one-time code sent to your phone number.

Who can see my customers' details?

You, in your app. Your shop's records are kept apart from every other shop's. The privacy policy explains exactly what Bisro stores and why.
